Completed!

Hola Blogers!

Well the good news is we have finally completed the sale of my London flat! It was the longest sale process known to man but it is now all over. So we are on step closer to having a home. We have now set teh date for completion here in Valencia as Thursday 8th March. Hooray! I think we will be in a mess for quite some while though as we have to wait until all the furniture turns up before we can realistrically live there. I have just ordered the mattresses, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave and they are coming from within the family so they may well turn up promptly upon completion if we can pull any strings. They are the most important things - with those in we can actually stop maintain the hotel industry here in Spain.

Its quite funny because I feel like skipping down the road and shouting from the rooftops now that we have completed ........and Las Fallas have started in Valencia today and so it seems like they are celebrating with me. Almighty bangs are going off everywhere and they are starting to cut off streets into the centre. The bangs and the party atmosphere will apparently build up each day now until teh big night - which I believe is the 19th ( a Monday and a holiday here). What a time to move in here! I hope the furniture vans can actually get into the city and to my door without being blown up or without the men stopping for a drink and a dance in the street!

I´ll try and take photos of whats going on. Taking the photos is no problem but loading up the photos is ......as the cable I need is a box somehwere - I don´t know exactly which one.

Jose and I have officially started up an international dating agency - well we do know a little bit about these things! No, joking aside ....I mean that we are working on getting two of our friends together. One of our Ushers from over here in Spain and a friend of mine from London. Photos have been swapped over and references have been forced upon them by me and know we are working on the girl getting a flight over here for a weekend to see whether any chemistry ignites. I can´t be responsible for that but I am doing my best to get them to the point of finding that bit out. I´ll keep you posted. Future candidates - let me know what you are looking for. Serious relationships only are catered for.

Ok well its 2.20 here which means I must set off to meet Jose at 2.30 for lunch. You lot are probably finishing your lunch but things are different here as you know. I tell you what its hot today. It was 21 degrees at 10am this morning and it must be aout 27 or 28 now. Its red hot!
