Team Trouble

Hola Blogers,

Funny how things can go full circle in a year. Team Trouble is back together again. Yes, you guessed it Juanita Banana is back by my side for a possible six week or more stint. Just like last January back in Brasil.

Those of you who follow this will know that Juanita (Jo) (my best friend from school) was the one with me in Brasil for six weeks last January. Then she came over here for two weeks in October. Well, since October, she has been living in San Francisco (where her Mum has been for the last 15 years). Her 3 months tourist visa ran out in January so she headed off to Canada for a weekend to renew it - i.e. re enter the states and get another three months stamp.......only she didn't! They wouldn't let her back in! Canada is apparently the states for visa purposes and so they said she had overstayed her visa and sent her back to London (at her expense!). After a few days of tears and Dick Whittington like wandering of the streets of London, a night with my friend Nena, a laugh or two with my friends Harry and George and a weekend up in our homeland Yorkshire, she came out here at my invitation so sit it out in Blamy Barcelona rather than Lost It London. So here we are - together again. Poor Jose's ears are being blasted with Yorkshireism!

We have packed Jo off to language school for four hoursper day for a month. Thought that would do her some good and extend her repertoire - which up until now only consisted of Tienes fuego? (do you have a light?).

Last weekend we went out to celebrate a friend's birthday (and the arrival of Juanita). We went for dinner in a group of ten, then to a house party and then accidently fell into a club on the way home. I hated the club. It was a retro gay club playing a mix of old spanish songs (that obviously I had never heard of) and 80's music. I firmly believe that the time and place for 80's music is, well, in the 80's. Can't stand it. I wasn't into all that crap when it was out in the first place. Well not the crap they always seem to play at 80's nights. Duran Duran yeah but Dexy's Midnight runner's - a big fat NO! Juanita whipped the crowd up into a frenzy though with her comedy over the top dancing.

Jose and I are going out for dinner alone tonight (well, with each other) and then to the Barca game. Juanita is tired (from all the late night emailing and calling to San Fran - still keeping the American dating game going) and plus she says we should have some us time. So, the very private and intimate Camp Nou it is then.

Does anyone know how to work edonkey? The music site? It doesn't seem to find anything I ask it for. Do I have to share before it will give me anything?

Un beso

S xx
